Hookah, Drinks, Good Eats, and Vibessss - Cirque

Updated: Jan 16, 2021

A Black-owned restaurant that has it all! One of my fave places to frequent where the service is impeccable, food is amazingly delicious, prices are super affordable, and the vibes are everything!

Steamed Crab & Shrimp Basket

Cirque Daiquiri Bar and Grill is one of my favorite mid-week go-to spots! to your blog post. Use this space to connect with your readers and potential customers in a way that’s current and interesting. Think of it as an ongoing conversation where you can share updates about business, trends, news, and more.

Delicious Food!

I come here at least once a week when I want to escape a hard work week. Cirque has daily specials, and the menu is pretty extensive. I've had just about everything! What I love most - it's pescatarian friendly with lots of seafood options to choose from! I just love it here!

The menu is pretty extensive and the prices are just right! I'm a pescatarian so I love their sautéed crab-fingers, crab cheese jalapeño poppers, calamari, and charbroiled oysters as an appetizer. For an entree, you definitely can't go wrong with the fried catfish! It's sooo delicious! Perfect crisp on the outside, not heavily breaded, and so moist and soft on the inside - a party in your mouth for sure!

I hardly ever spend over $60 for a full meal including a few drinks and hookah! Now that's a steal - and I'm all for a good deal! I'm usually a sucker for either the crab cake sandwich, fried catfish/shrimp po' boy, or fish and grits! If you're a vegetarian, Cirque has a superb impossible burger that will bring you to your knees with it's deliciousness! I've heard the lamb chops and steak are bomb, but I don't eat meat, so I'll have to just take their word for it!

You can check out the food menu here. On Wednesdays, Cirque has an amazing drink special for ladies' night. Daiquiris are so cheap! My fave - you should try the Bob Marley! It has their specialty blends of sour apple, orgasm, and DUI. It's phenomenal! If you're not a heavy drinker, or you don't sip as much as the average social drinker, you'll be sure to find some amazing drinks on the lighter side. Check out their drink menu here!

Not to mention, Cirque has amazing brunch options on the weekends! I'm a huge brunch lover! Brunch is great when you just need to sleep in and you still want to catch breakfast but you find yourself craving lunch at the same time! When I was a meat-eater, I would always order my usual - chicken & waffles! You can't go wrong with the good ole staple and a side of cheese grits! That's a recipe for good living!

Atmosphere & Vibes

Cirque's atmosphere is pefect for a girl's night out or a night out with your significant other. The selection of seating is indoors and out, with outdoor seating being heated during the winter months. The music selection is the best part! If you love hip-hop or old school R&B, then you'll love Cirque's atmosphere.

The lighting is very dim throughout the restaurant, but not so much so you can't enjoy the scenery. The building is shaped like a circle, with lounging areas on the patio. It's so unique, so I don't think you'll be troubled at finding this eatery if you've never dined here before.

Dont' be fooled! This daiquiri bar and grill is a major hot-spot in Atlanta, so the lines can be pretty long on the weekends. I'd suggest going on a weekday to avoid heavy crowds and an increase in valet costs. Yes - parking is limited, so I highly recommend valet. To get the best valet rates, try visiting this spot before 7PM and during the weekdays - you can thank me later! I don't want to neglect to mention the quality of service provided to me by Cirque's Valet drivers. They are always so kind and courteous. I even remember not having an umbrella one day, and it was pouring down rain that evening. The valet driver walked me up to the door and allowed me to use his umbrella - talk about top-notch service! Now that's what I call, a good dining experience from beginning to end!!

So if you want a cute, quaint, and trendy spot, but you don't want to be in the heart of the city, I believe this one will steal your interests and your appetite too!

Customer Service

I like my customer service like I like my food; quick, welcoming, and top quality!

Any time I come to Cirque, there's always a wait - but can you blame them?!?!?? The food is the business!! I wouldn't want to frequent a restaurant that's not popping on the radar!! Even though there is a wait, once I'm seated, I'm not waiting more than five minutes until a drink menu is placed in front of me!

I'm a creature of habit, so I like to sit in my usual spots. Wait staff is usually very knowledgeable of the menu. Don't you hate it when the waiter isn't a foodie like you?!?! They can almost recommend anything if you describe to them your pallet. They are courteous and pleasant when assisting with any of the menu selections.

Wait times can vary depending on the crowd. Normally I don't end up waiting more than 20 minutes for my entree and about 15 for my appetizers. I'm usually too stuffed to order dessert. The Hookah wait staff are pleasant as well. At this particular eatery, the hookah is billed separate from your bill.

All in all, I can say my dining experience usually lasts for about three hours. There's usually not a timed seating limit at the tables, so I'm free to fully enjoy my hookah, drinks, food, and girlfriends at my leisure - which is the most important factors when it comes to your overall dining experience.

Try Them Out!

Cirque has always been one of my favorite casual spots for good vibes, a fun time, spectacular food at reasonable prices, and top notch customer service! And of course it's black owned! So grab a friend, lover, business partner, or associate and head on down to Cirque's Daiquiri Bar & Grill and I promise you won't be disappointed! Tell them Aisha sent you! And if you don't want to get out of bed, they offer Door Dash as well! And if you're still in between deciding to cook today or if you just want to grab a quick bite, check them out here!

And as always - all of my opinions are my very own. I don't make any commission for reviewing any eateries or restaurants. I still believe in upholding journalism integrity, so if I don't favor something, I usually don't write about it! I'm just you're southern foodie enthusiast with a passion for celebrating my culture through my various dining experiences!

Til next bite!
